Subject: Slippin n slidin NH3 into cover crops - short video

Mitchell, SD
Was applying NH3 into stripped wheat stubble planted to cover crop yesterday. Mix of radishes, dwarf essex rape and Ethiopian cabbage. Juicy above ground vegetation made for limited traction, especially in the headlands. Couple of spots auto steer couldn't stay straight. Using controlled traffic flow. Cover crop did a good job of using up excess moisture from a wet fall, ground was dryer and harder than I expected Penetration was only about 3 1/2 inches. Sealing was good.
