Set your equation and theirs equal to each other and solve for "f".
Or:
Figure your weight for say 200bu at 15%. Plug all that back into theirs, solve for "f". One equation, one unknown.
Thanks. I don't really need to solve for F as they already give you two different numbers for F. One is if you want the yield to be represented in pounds per acre. The other is if you want the yield represented in bushels per acre. I show F on my picture if you're wanting the yield in bushels per acre.
I guess what I'm wanting is to know how they came up with F.
The "factor" is almost certainly just a bunch of conversions (square feet in an acre, shrink due to moisture, etc) combined together into one number. I just can't figure it out. |
