We have a 2006 2388, had the AFS yield monitor when we got it, we went to YieldSense but kept the AFS moisture sensor which I believe is the Ag Leader one?

I also run an FMX for GPS, not that it should affect the moisture sensor.

I have the same issue - moisture sensor won't hold a calibration, exactly as you describe. It's 2 pts high in the morning when you start and 2 pts low at 7pm, regardless of how you adjust it during the day. Start at 15%, settles down a couple points within the first couple rounds, then drifts down to 9%, meanwhile you are cutting 11% beans more or less all day.

Sort of ridiculous. I also don't want to buy a precision unit, how do I know it won't do the same thing?

It's a fairly significant thing to have accurate, for all the high-resolution data it otherwise puts out. A bad systematic error to splash across all the data.
