South Central Kansas, Harper County
Pretty good, for me anyway. Best I ever had in the past was 725#. I've got a couple fields I think could be better than that. There was a lot of 1000-1400# cotton last year, which I think is excellent! Little more rain last year, and I don't remember us having the two weeks of 100 degree temps with the wind we had last two weeks in July. It really affected the cotton, but beans hurt the worst.

You really need to line up strippers in advance, there are several around the Winfield area, but most get booked pretty early. I contacted some harvesters from Texas, and this is first year they've come up. But, I would expect cotton acres to increase a bit next year, so more southern harvesters may be interested in coming into the area.
