Subject: RE: Cotton guys, after harvest stalks question?

South Central Kansas, Harper County
Haven't planted any for about 3 yrs, but used to plant couple hundred acres a year. Soybeans proved to be more lucrative past 3 years and easier to get back into wheat,if needed. Price was better last year on cotton and yields around last year were terrific, in my opinion. Jumped back in and planted 1000 acres this spring, and we just finished 1st field last week. Looks to be in that 650-750# area, so anxious to see what grade is after ginning.
