Controller Problem

DJI Phantom 3 Pro.
First use in about 30 days.

While at home I had charged all three batteries, the I-Pad, cell internet deal, putor.
And the charger was on the controller for over an hour. I do not remember the status of the controller lights.

Out to the country. Set up my sun screen deal, chair and table. Getting too windy too quick, should have went home.

Powers up aircraft. Then controller, then I-Pad.
But the controller will not power on. I-Pad display reading controller battery about 90%.

So I get the charger, go into the machine shed. Hook charger onto the controller. It powers up.
Up-plug charger and the controller dies, right now.

So I get a 100’ drop cord. Power up the controller under my sun screen deal.
A-OK. Aircraft takes off. But I soon decide it is just too windy. About a four minute flight.

Back at home I do more controller battery charging, several hours.
It powers up hooked to charger. But dies as soon as the charger cord is pulled.

This outfit is less than one year old by a few days.

Any ideas?
