I don't think it matters how much you are worth per acre.

What matters is how much it's going to cost you between:

1. Normal operational costs
2. Additional wear on your equipment due to adverse conditions
3. Additional fuel costs due to adverse conditions
4. Additional labor costs due to adverse conditions
5. Additional equipment hours due to adverse conditions
6. Cost of clean up and repairs that will be above and beyond normal

After that you add a level of profit that makes it feel worth it to you.

Now you know what you're willing to work for and he can decide if he's willing to pay that much or not. I would tell him a slightly elevated rate for the acres you have done so far and then the rate you calculate based upon the parameters I mentioned in this thread for anything going forward. This makes it so he doesn't feel like he's getting blindsided by a really high rate but it makes it so you can at least pay for everything going forward should he decide to have you keep running.

Around here the combine and cart (no tracks and no trucks) in good running conditions is worth:

1. $25 per acre base
2. An overage defined as:
2a. No overage charges on less than 40 bushel corn
2b. $0.25 per bushel overage for every bushel above 40 up to 60 bushels
2c. Above 60 bushels you ignore the previous two and just charge 1/3 of $0.25 per bushel on every bushel.

This is based on gross bushels, not net bushels

So here 150 bushel corn you get:

$25 per bushel base
(150 x $0.25)/3 = $12.50 overage

So for $37.50 per acre you would get your dry 150 bushel corn harvested here. Then you would need to pay to get it hauled on top of that.

Your situation is not normal and you need to charge significantly more.
