SE MN | There is a torsional dampener or also called a coupler on the flywheel and it has been known to fail. However, I'm not sure that you'd have hydraulics if it let go, but someone else could tell us more about that. I'm thinking maybe that you'd pretty much have just a running engine and probably some burned rubber smell, but then again maybe the dampener holds enough to run the hyd pump and when you put it in gear it slips. If it is the dampener, the price is the painful part, I don't think they're all that hard to install. | |
