east central ND | Been running with little to no hydroflex PSI to keep the cutter bar slammed on the dirt in a few fields, should not break cutter bar, have done it in the past and I never had trouble or breakage doing it. If normal conditions are good and no pushing, I will keep it about 1200 to 1300. In a couple rough fields that I am trying to get low pods, I would drive slow and have no PSI to try and keep the cutter bar flat to the ground as possible. I should have rented a roller for those fields.
