Missouri river bottom south of Sioux City, IA
Golden Harvest G12W66 is a tall plant and has a very high ear placement. I have some under irrigation and the ear placement is higher than I would like to see it.

The other pic is from a few years ago. We had 6 or 7 of those tall plants mixed in the field of Mycogen seed. It might have been some silage corn that got mixed in. The only animal that could get that ear is a giraffe!!!
