Madison, Mississippi | Does your 750 have the RTK/Omni unlock? 750's are cheap without the unlock code. (code is about $2000 I think) . If not unlocked and do not plan on getting unlocked to RTK, you are stuck with WAAS or the $350 Rangepoint RTX (which needs no unlocks)
If the 750 is unlocked to RTK, check out Digifarm or one of the other virtual RTK systems for coverage areas. You will be glad you did! Digifarm covers Mississippi so I use them. Their RTK is $900 yearly subscription plus one time $650 for the beacon that plugs into your 750 and use then use your cellphone data plan as modem (apple or android). The Digifarm app is free and you can talk or text while using phone as your modem as you autosteer.
STO here with Trimble 750 and ezpilot doing some custom tillage and planting. Never thought I would be able to justify RTK but with a virtual system and my cellphone I am enjoying RTK like the BTO's! | |
