sounds like a good price. i think your moving in the correct direction. i like trimble and i like others. comes down to what the person feels comfortable with. in full disclosure i would maybe prepare for an unlock to a higher level of guidance. as you will read here over the years, some get along fine with waas, most do not.

i think the tmx looks like a kick but display, if it is reliable as its predecessors it will be an excellent system. i have an ez pilot on my farm, they work very well.

if the planter part is important to you i would do some research first. i also have a kinze and did not do my research when it came time to upgrade. if you have a kinze with dickey john sensors, such as the older 2000s, you will likely get along fine and roll easily to whatever you want to do. if you have a 3000 or 4000 row unit it becomes a little more challenging, especially if it is an edgevac. i can elaborate more if you would like. let me know your planter model and we can go from there.
