North Central Iowa | I bought Yield Sense last year after I lost my combine in a fire while combining beans. I lost several hundred acres of yield data since I hadn't downloaded my Integra to a memory stick. Having my data sent to the cloud automatically for free was a major selling point when I bought Yield Sense. I've got a lot of experience with the 20/20 in the planter and was a big fan of Precision Planting before it was sold.
Now that I'm expected to pay for a service that was free when I made the buying decision, I'm a little less enthused about Yield Sense. I will probably be looking back into Ag Leader when it's time to upgrade any monitors. Precision was light years ahead of them when the 20/20 came out, but I think they've caught back up. Now that Precision doesn't seem to be on the cutting edge of technology and customer service, it will make it easier to move on. |
