NC South Dakota | Last year I got the yeild monitor on my TR99 working, just needed to replace the sensor on the feederhouse and change a few settings once i understood how it worked.
So it only got used for Corn last year, but without calibrating, and using factory setting its was within 3% of my final yield!!!!
Anyway trying to get it working for beans. Everything seems to work but it will not show yield or grain flow.
Checked out the sensor and have 380ohms (Pins 1&4), and 353ohms (Pins 2&3) all the way up to db25 connector in the cab.
So the sensor and cable seem fine. Pulled the flow sensor and cleaned what I could, no change, wasn't very dirty.
I did finally see 4bpa come up for 1 second this afternoon. But soon went away.
Anyway The ONLY thing that I haven't ruled out(except the computer) is the elevator chain adjustment.
In the first picture u can see there is more than 1/2 of clearance between the paddle and top of the grain elevator(its like 1.25")...
I hesitate to move it because it was SPOT on for corn last year.
AndI wanted some good, real world advice before screw it up.....
Could the beans just not be reaching the impact plate? And I just need to adjust the elevator?
Anyone have any advice for me? thanks
Beans are pretty tough yet so getting the machine all working good while i wait till they are ready.
