Altoona, WI | Just a quick thank you to my fellow farmers on here who drive up the cost of my beloved Duluth Trading clothing. I buy my clothing from them almost exclusively because I have found that despite the considerably higher initial cost, the long term cost is lower than say Carhartt because the stuff lasts so much longer. While it is true that Duluth has an extraordinary guarantee and will replace jeans and shirts that you have worn for a year, no questions asked, that does not mean that a person should abuse it. I believe that if you truly feel that the item did not last as long as you think it should for the cost, by all means make use of the guarantee. However, one should not use it to buy one pair of pants and make it the last pair you ever spend money on. By doing this, Duluth does have to recoup the cost of that guarantee by raising the price for those of us who actually pay for a new pair once a year. | |
