Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | My cart operator is young and can still turn around OK but he figures out that I'm done when he sees me fold the auger back. I'm one of those that believe the auger should always be folded back. This year I had Lankota's cross auger clutch systems installed. If I see the cart is going to get full before I'm empty I step on the switch which stops the cross augers and lets the horizontal auger run empty. I then shut off the unloading auger and cycle it back to its cradle on the combine. Being it is empty there is no extra weight within the horizontal auger. |
