| I opt for cheap. I am assuming you have air ride.Just get a standard air gauge calibrated in 2 lb increments from 0 to 100 or better. Glycerin filled are better but I have used the others. Plumb it into the line next to one of the air bags. When you get a load that is pretty close to the maximum axle weight note the air pressure. $20 per rig will probably set you up. We just zip tye the ones on the trailer in a protected but easily seen place on the trailer. On the tractor I just run the line through the floor under the dash and use a hole saw to make a place in the dash. Be sure to use a grommet where you come through the floor. If you want to get fancy some trailer places will have the gauges that read the axle weight. They usually have a calibration screw on them so are more expensive. | |
