Here it is picked quite a bit greener, and very little of the husk comes off in the field.  The husking bed is inside a building with a crew of six or eight that sort off culls and make sure the ear is clean or it goes back over the husking bed a second time.  Another big difference is field size; 20 acres would be a big planting, since nothing past parent seed is grown here, and a lot of it is foundation seed.
