Ray I don't think I would jump ship just yet JD is coming out with some technology that is just what you are looking for. I can't find the link but They have a new system called iGuide that shifts the tractor to guide an implement such as a pull type planter over the correct path which automatically compensates for implement drift.

I think it is all part of the Itec Pro technology that works through the GS2 display.
