In beans you want to run your backshaft fast enough so that the belts are running slightly faster than your ground speed. You will want to adjust the backshaft speed as your ground speed changes. Depending on how heavy your beans are, you might need to change the sprockets on the end of the head to get it speeded up enough to keep your combine full.
