I really fail to see an issue with height. Even when I was on crutches a month ago I had zero issues getting in and out of my 4x4 Super Duties. I also like a taller vehicle in traffic. I'm all for this. My wife is shorter and not flexible so any pick up will need running boards. Honestly it was easier on crutches to get in and out of our Super Duties than the Escape. Untill they are like a cab over semi I'm all for tall pickups.

The length of some of these pickups is crazy my crew cab short box reminds me of a straight truck in a parking lot.

I agree 100%. If someone wants a smaller truck, buy a Tacoma, Frontier, Colorado/Canyon. I for one hate sitting on top of the passenger, that's why I buy a fullsize.
