Yeah, I would do some thinking on that ground clearance statement..............I could park my '72 3/4 ton 4x4 next to the '02 3/4 ton 4x4 and the axle to ground clearance was no different, but I needed a crane to get into the '02, and the new ones are worse than that. Like someone else said here, nobody really uses a truck for a truck anymore, they get the gooseneck out to haul a gas grill. I wish I could get myself a new '72 K-20...............it just works, don't need a "This truck makes wide turns" sticker for the tail gate, and you can slide right in and out. I got a stake body on it and it just the right height to work from. Unfortunately those days are over.........I have been looking for a regular cab, 3/4 ton 4x4 with a big gas engine......................Leaning to a RAM, but these new BIG gas engines are far from the 460's and 454's. Everyone wants a diesel. Yeah, I don't need that aggrivation either.
