Nwmo | This has been a problem in every jd combine I have ever owned when combining green stem beans.
Last year it was the worst I had ever dealt with, so I tried taking out stripper plates, the plates on the side and the main triangular plates in the middle. Nothing helped at all, until I was so desperate I went and bought a new jd feeder house chain and I didn't have a problem the rest of the year. I usually don't buy jd feeder house chains because they cost double what aftermarket go for.
I don't know why the chain would make a difference, except maybe it was worn out more on one side and I couldn't get it tight with the newer spring loaded feeder house setup. | |
