Subject: Soybean nodulation if you have too much N?

Central MN
Does too much N early or anytime during the season hurt soybean nodulation? I've heard it does and also heard that N in the soil won't hurt nodulation no matter how manly lbs in the soil. Is there something a guy can do to help nodulation if there is excessive N out there? We do inoculate them when planting. I've heard of double or triple inoculation, how does that work? N would be coming from manure applied the year before or possibly fall before. Example, apply 2-3 tons of turkey manure in fall, plant corn in spring, then beans the next year. The manure has only say 40lbs of the total 80lbs per ton available the first year so the rest of the N (80lbs from 2 ton) would be there for the beans. Is that goin to hurt me or what can i do so the extra N doesn't hurt the beans? Thanks
