Subject: When to roll ZCZ7 to ZCN8

Northeast Nebraska
I have an HTA for 60k bushels on with ADM for Dec futures. I have 90% of my corn hedged/sold out of the field. I have a 60k bushel bin that I own.

When is a good time to roll? They only charge a penny to roll to July 18. I believe we closed Friday with a 27 and 3/4 cent spread

That should easily cover my interest, cost to bin, etc to July, but should I take it or with the large crop coming will spreads widen more?

Full disclosure, I’ve never rolled a contract before in my life. I put this hta on a long time ago when the market didn’t suck.
