We will start planting the cover crop 1st or 2nd week of October and go through about the 4th week of October- depending on rain. Based on timing, I assumed only covers that will overwinter. For corn, in the past we have terminated 10 days before planting and for soybeans we plant green.
Have things set before soy and just want to consider other options before corn- from what I researched triticale and clover or vetch was most recommended.
