Subject: RE: Fall wheat fertilizer?

Mid-Michigan
No. I would put at least 75 p and more k. Esn is ok but usually in the spring my wheat needs n immediately. I don't think the n in esn can hang in there long enough to justify the cost. I use streamers for the second shot and I believe it's what really gives you the chance for big yields if your fall fertilizer is out there. Your n in the fall gets your wheat off to a good start. P and k is way more important unless you can put p on when planting (I can't or I would). Growing good wheat is a real science and very expensive
Makes me wonder why I grow it bit I like combing 100 bu. Wheat.
