Subject: Every big crop

NW Indiana
Comes from a long grain fill. Avg cornbelt is 40 days from silk to dent. 2010-2012 was 32-35. 2004, 2009, 2014, 2016 all 43-46 days. Haven't looked this year but I would guess it was 45-47 days. I keep warning the cool August was adding weight, many felt it was bad for grain fill. August could have easily added 5-7 bushels to the national average. I still call BS on 49.9
