| A while back after talking to my grain buyer I thought maybe I should get more beans sold before harvest basis widened. I did a basis contract and put an offer in for the futures side of the contract the same day. We came close a few times but never hit. So yesterday I lowered my offer by ten cents. Well last night it hit and today it hit my original offer. I think of all the times I have missed by pennies just to see the market never get close again and the one time I change it and it hits it one day later. It really not much money on this small contract but it still can be frustrating. | |
