Subject: Lagoon pumping question

west michigan
I have a friend that asked to rent one of my tractors to run a second pump for agitating/pumping his lagoon out. I've seen other people including him park the pump tractor on the incline down into the pit. I am worried about this being hard on the engine of the tractor, possibly causing oil/ lubrication problems. Is this a legitimate concern? Or am I just being paranoid? I know he would park it on flat ground if I asked him to, but don't want to cause a burden if it's not necessary. Tractor is an 8940 CIH if that makes any difference. Thanks for any insights.
