. | 7 years ago today that my husband John passed away from metastatic prostate cancer. Fought hard for 9 years before he passed. The last of the two albino deer born that spring hasn't been seen this years. I guess she's gone now too.
Last night I was thinking how he had said I'd need to get rid of the cattle; couldn't do all that work. That was with about a dozen head. There are about 65 head out there now. But son is back in the area and we continue to keept things going here. Glad I don't have to be on the road today. Need a quiet day of reflection, (well as quiet as it ever gets around here)
