Subject: Fall seeded onions to over winter

East Central Arkansas

I am planing to plant some short day onion seeds this fall to overwinter and have onions for harvest late spring maybe early summer. I know south Texas plants around October 15. I am located in eastern AR at 34*28' latitude. Does anyone have a idea as to when I should be planting? Just something different to try in our large garden.
