Subject: Power inverter wire gauge

Waterloo, IL
I am installing a 6000 watt inverter on a bus. No, I am not getting a generator. I don't want another motor to maintain. The inverter will only be running when the bus is running. I figure I will be using about 3500 watts max if I have the two heaters running. My thought process was to go with the bigger inverter just in case they really aren't rated as they say. The inverter will be about 25 feet from the battery. I know it should be closer, but that is the closest that I can get. What gauge wire do I need? Is 0 AWG gauge big enough? The inverter I am looking at is a powerbright. I also looked at a 5000 watt Harbor Freight inverter that was about 175 dollars cheaper. Does anyone have any insight on the Harbor freight one? Thanks.
