East central iowa | Witnessed a land auction today where buyer had choice of Two parcels of bare land with almost 90 csr .Winner of bidding took the smaller parcel for 11100 an acre for a 40. Backup bidder had choice to take 69 for same money per acre .His wife wasn't there said he needed to call his wife .Crowd all laughed! Came home and googled his wife seems she won 4 million in lottery many years ago. He ended up with the piece for 11000 an acre. Kinda need to keep your seed money person happy!! eastern iowa | |
