I have a dell precision laptop that is acting funky. I suspect a failing hard drive but wonder if there is a way to isolate the problem. It will boot up fine and seems to work fine. If I leave it overnight then in the morning it will be on a dos page asking me to run chkdsk. Could it be anything else? Thanks.
