Does your child want to do it ? Or does some adult want her to beef up the team ?
My daughter has spent 2 summers playing basketball. Mom chauffeurs her around. I haven't been to a game yet. All the other parents can just not understand how I can not come spend a whole weekend watching 3 hrs of basketball.
We are in the boonies so 150 miles one way, minimum.
My daughter plays because she likes to play,no matter who is in the bleachers. If she needed to be fulfilled with parent enthusiasm, she would be at a tractor pull.

Our kids were tremendous help on the farm until traveling teams started. Then there's political bs whether your kid is the best on the team, worst or in between.
Way too expensive and time consuming but some really love it. |
