NE ND
No experience with SD Drain but have used WM Drain for a number of years now. I really only have two complaints about WM drain and they're mostly of non-importance but more a luxury feature. First off is no ability for background maps, but like Ross said, I also run a program on the iPad and have all my LiDAR maps loaded onto that program for tracking topography. The second is, I wish there was a feature to set a maximum cut depth per pass (I've just now learned from above that SD Drain has this exact feature). Say you have to cut through a 8" ridge, I would like the ability of the scraper (program) to only allow the scraper to take a maximum of say 1" per pass instead of the scraper trying to take all 8" in one shot. The way I deal with it currently is to either trim up the blade or manually run the scraper until I get close to my final grade pass.
