This is comical.   Now we are debating the post not the need. We had a situation that we had a RGN beam trailer in San Antonio Tx. There isn't a lot of machinery coming back to Illinois beside on a beam. We priced the move accordingly. However if we could of found a "backhaul" it would of been icing on the cake. The driver stayed till noon the next day and we brought him back empty, looking for something on his route back. Sometimes we have drops head out empty. There is always loads available at the "save big money" warehouse. The rates are so poor they basically cover the time to load, tie down and tarp. Also the time to unload. No real revenue to the truck. Needless to they aren't saving big money on us at our expense.

So cho if you don't want to do it quit crying. If I had a grain trailer or long dump out in Ohio or heading south empty I would take advantage of this opportunity if you could negotiate a fair rate especially if the truck already had a exclusive rate load.
