i don't know the formatting process for a pro 600 but i do know the same cards are used for the older agleader monitors and you cannot just press format to get them to work. it takes a dos command. maybe this is not the case for the pros but i had to learn the hard way that it is absolutely the case for the older agleaders. if they are formatted incorrectly it will act as if the card is bad.
Not required for the Pro 600. Once the card is in the PC (and recognized, so that you have a drive letter assigned to it), just right-click on the drive letter and select format. (Ensure all data is backed up first, if needed.) You can give the card a name if you want, but it's not required. UNCHECK the "quick format" box. This will require much more time to format, but will actually overwrite the data on the card and will scan the card for bad sectors, neither of which happens with a quick format. |
