We've been very dry most of the year by Fairgrove. Not sure about where you are, its been spotty all year in the Thumb I think. I don't know that I've ever heard of wheat rooting deep enough to plug tile, but if its dry, I think all bets are off then.

I've only had real issues with radish plugging tile once. Loamy soil, and its loam fairly deep. Low end of a field and tile are shallow, they run into a pretty shallow ditch. Many have issues with sugar beet roots every year, I never did when we grew beets.
