Fruita CO | Just had a thought reading the 55 combine thread below, isn't it funny they built the 55 for so many years, even changed the shape of it totally, round back to square back, & still called it a 55, same with 95 & 105, of course? Unlike now, when they seemingly change the model number every 15 minutes, whenever a new bell or whistle comes out, especially on tractors...with the 20 series tractors, they changed enough in 1969 to have been called a new model. Seems like model recognition was a selling point as well a brand, now not so much. Gotta be new & (not so) different... | |
