Only need section control.
Like a ez boom.
EZ-boom would be one choice. It can be setup to replace the 440 or to work with it. If it is setup to replace the 440, it handles rate control and section control. For those who still want to use the 440 for rate control, EZ-boom can be setup to run section control only. As I recall a Trimble 500 or 750 would be needed with EZ-Boom.
There are/were some other choices for auto swath section control. In essence the section switches on the 440 were left in the OFF position and the new box handled turning the sections ON/OFF. The signal was backfed to the 440 so that it would do its math correctly for rate, area etc. |
