| Can you be a little more specific, are you using it for steering or for earth moving? Stationary or portable? What range would you need or want? What brand of equipment are you trying to provide a RTK solution to?
Features such as radio type, correction type, survey times, easy of setup are all considerations. A base that is difficult to setup and use is not much fun unless you know a lot of the terminology.
I have had a base station for 10 years, its obsolete. GPS only, 24 hour survey times, has to be programmed with special cables and needs a PC with serial connection. Still works for me, would not be for everyone.
