NE Indiana | As said before that is a Raven SmartBoom. When given GPS into the SmartBoom it will automatically shut boom sections off when you come into previous applied areas. If you want to keep running the sprayer the same way and just add an Ag Leader display to do guidance the cheapest way would get a dual port antenna cable and use port A for GPS into the AL screen and plug port B into the SmartBoom cable. The only problem with this is that the Ag Leader screen will not show any information on what the sprayer is doing i.e. what rate is being put on, if the sections are on or off. If you wanted this information then you would have to buy and App Rate module from Ag Leader to display that info on the screen. | |
