| It rollled down over alittle embankment hit a tree dead center in the front. just crawling when it hit, broke the steering gear box off engine and one of the ears on the engine that the gear box bolts too. Grill and hood in bad shape. radiator ruined fan ruined. The hayfield is like a cement road ground is almost level but it rolled and made a right turn for that walnut tree. Looking for a $50 dollar John Deere fuel cap for a 3830 windrower, found it, but lost the tractor. My dad tried to stop it, got in front of the rear wheel thinking he could slam it in gear. But didnt work could have gotten run over. The whole deal only took about 30 seconds. but on the good side found the fuel cap in that spot, but lost the tractor. | |
