Don't be afraid to take back off and look inside. If you have vibration and you can smell burned wires then it is possible that you have wires loose inside. If the main rotor or main stator is bad then we would not repair the unit.
I don't remember what the Kato were set up for excitation but if it has a traditional exciter then we would rewind it ourselves. We don't like to rewind rotors.
And I don't have pricing in front of me but a new 40kw is not that expensive. | |
