Subject: Canada Fishing

Graymont Illinois

I just got back from a fishing trip, that had about the worst walleye fishing in 30 years.
The muskie fishing was the most exciting for me. I do not spend much time muskie fishing.
I caught my first large muskie, one particular lure just produced.
This lure had my friends laughing at me for such a large/ lure until, it drew muskies at every rock pile we went to.
Even tho most muskies just followed, they were exciting.
Switched to many different lures after the follow ups, but no follow ups.
Went back to the "hot" lure and back he came.
Finally, thought I would look up a backup lure.
70$ for a lure!
This muskie was estimated at 47", I did not want him to be out of the water long, but he got tangled in the net.
Friends said it was only 2 minutes, but  I wanted him back in the water as soon as able to.
We used pictures of the muskie on the floor of my boat to measure an estimate.
