I was watching radar in Cottonwood County worried about the fair, especially when one if the deputies texted me a picture of a wall cloud 15 miles north of the fairgrounds. Fortunately for us, the storm split and all that happened was about a 40mph wind gust and some more rain...
Heard Nobles County had a report of a possible tornado, destroyed hog barn near rushmore. Also heard of a confirmed large tornado near Melvin Iowa. The western part of the storm definitely took off.
Anyway, just praying no lives are lost. Property can be replaced. | |
