Subject: John Deere 8760 what to look for.

mn
Looking at an 8760 with 6500 hours to replace my 8440. I have run the serial number and found it never left the local area although had 6 owners. Both front and rear differential had R&R in 2012. Steering pins and bushings last fall. All service always done at the dealer.

Is there anything in particular you look for on those tractors? Any common problems? What would be the cause of the differentials needing work already? (had 4600 hours at the time)

Also, what's it worth? 20.8 38 matching radial firestones @ 65% has 3 point, no pto, 3 scv, 7 out of 10 condition.

Will it pull a 44.5 foot 980 decent?

Thanks.
