KY | Got ahold of this 886, had been sitting out for a year but everything checks out good on it. I've got another just about like it, thought I'd stick this one on a mower and leave it. I have never moved these style wheels, and this guy had them set to 30" rows, I obviously want them out a good bit for mowing on hills. He said they've been in the same place for at least 10 years, so I know there's rust and dirt to contend with, but still seems that once a guy gets both the inside and outside wedge bolts backed off, a couple smacks of a sledge on the tires would break them loose from the axle and allow them to slide? I'll either put a chain around the wheel centers and pull with a come along or use a porta-power to apply a little pressure while I shift it around, that's how I slide my Case wheels all the time.
